1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup apricot preserves
2 ounces cream cheese, cold
2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons turbinado, Demerara, or other coarse sugar
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
About 1 1/2 tablespoons ice water
About 1 tablespoon half and half
