1 cup whipping cream
1 large egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
10 tablespoon unsalted butter, chilled and cut into 1/2
12 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped (we tested with Ghirardelli Intense Dark 72% Cacao)
2 1/2 tablespoons frozen orange juice concentrate
2 1/2 teaspoons curry powder (optional)
2 navel oranges, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons sugar
2 to 3 Tbsp. ice water
