1 dash fine sea salt
1 day old loaf braided challah (about a 20 oz. loaf)
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/2 cup + 1 T organic sugar
1/2 cup water or orange juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons light cream or half and half
2 teaspoons good quality orange extract
2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch, sifted
3 tablespoons Meyer lemon juice
6 large eggs
