1/4 teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground
1/4 teaspoon salt
2.5 cups white bread, sliced into 1/2 inch cubes.
3 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh squeezed
6 handfuls romain lettuce, head washed and spun dry. Leaves torn into bite sized pieces
